The only Ukrainian Yulia Dzhima in the pursuit finished 22nd.
On Sunday , March 10, on the final day of the eighth stage of the Biathlon World Cup 2023/24 in the American Salt Lake City, the women's pursuit race took place.
Ukraine was represented in it only by Yulia Jima , which based on the results of thesprintstarted on the 33rd. Kristina Dmitrenko also qualified for the race (she was supposed to start the race 55th), but she did not make it to the start.
In Jim’s Pursuit she was able to win back 11 positions and finished 22nd. In total, at four firing lines, Yulia made only one inaccurate shot.
The pursuit race was won by the Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot, who was ahead of the Italian Lisa Vittozzi in the last meters of the distance. Julia Simon from France rounded out the top three.

The stage in Salt Lake City will end on March 10 with the men's pursuit, which will begin at 19:50 Kyiv time.
