Yuriy Vernidub's team played two more games than the Pitmen.
Krivbasswon away against Veres in the match of the 22nd round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). The match at the Avangard stadium in Rivne ended with the score 0:2.
The first half passed without goals. Before the break, the Rivne club remained in the minority – in the 45th + 4th minute midfielder Andrey Kuharuk received a direct red card.
In the second half, Yuriy Vernidub’s team took advantage of their numerical majority. In the 54th minute, the hosts' defender Alexander Kucherenko scored an own goal.
Towards the end of the match, the Kryvyi Rih team scored for the second time – in the 89th minute, they scored an accurate shot Maxim Lunev.
