The Ukrainian national teamin biathlon has approved the senior coaches of the men's and women's teams for the 2024/25 season.
As reported by Suspilne Sports, Nikolai Zots remains the head coach of the Ukrainian women's team. But next season, Nadezhda Belova will work with the men's team, replacing Juraj Sanitra in this post.

Women, national team: Nikolai Zots (senior coach), Sergei Zots, Oleg Merkushin, Alexey Petrenko, Roman Leybyuk
Men's national team:Nadezhda Belova (senior coach), Alexey Kravchenko, Dmitry Ivasenko, Alexander Artyuk (all – team A), Roman Prima (team B)
Junior team (juniors and juniors): Alexander Kravchenko, Oksana Khvostenko, Alexander Bilanenko, Nazariy Buryk.
Note that Zots will work with the Ukrainian women's team for the second year in a row. Last year he was approved for this post instead of Alexander Kravchenko.
Belova returned to work with the “blue-yellows”. She had already coached the Ukrainian men's team until 2016, when she gave up her position to Slovakian Sanitra. From this time until 2019, the Ukrainian worked with the Polish national team.
At the same time, the captain of the Ukrainian national team Dmitry Pidruchny will continue to train under the leadership of Sanitra, with whom he will collaborate over the next two seasons.
In the 2024/25 World Cup season, the Ukrainian biathlon team will have a quota of five athletes in women's individual races, while in men's individual races our team will be able to field a maximum of four athletes.
The new season of the Biathlon World Cup will begin stage on November 30 in Finnish Kontiolahti.
