The French team of referees will work at the decisive match.
The European Football Union (UEFA) has appointed referees for the final of Euro 2024, in which Spain and England will compete for the title of the strongest team on the continent.
As reported on the official UEFA website, the main referee of the match will be 35-year-old Frenchman Francois Letexier.
Compatriots Cyril Mounier and Mehdi Rahmouni will be his assistants. The reserve referee is Szymon Marciniak (Poland).
Frenchman Jerome Brizard will be in charge of the video replay system (VAR), his assistants will be Willy Delageau (France) and Massimiliano Irrati (Italy).
At the current continental championship, Letexier officiated three group stage matches: Spain – Georgia, Denmark – Serbia and Croatia – Albania.
He also has experience in the Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, UEFA Super Cup and domestic competitions in France.
The final of the 2024 European Championship will take place on Sunday, July 14, at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. The starting whistle will sound at 22:00 Kyiv time.
