Fortunately, the woman was not injured.
The house of Ukrainian football player Viktor Kovalenko was destroyed as a result of shelling of the Kherson region by Russian occupiers.
The 28-year-old midfielder, whose contract belongs to the Italian Atalanta, announced this on his Instagram page.
According to Kovalenko, his mother was in the building at the time of his arrival. Fortunately, the woman was not injured.
“Today a Russian missile hit the house where I have lived all my life. It was my parents' house, there is no other house! The stress and fear that I experienced cannot be expressed in words, because my mother was there, thank God everything is fine with her.
If you want to help our military, gather in the Kherson direction! All accounts are in stories,” wrote Kovalenko, adding a video showing a house destroyed by the Russians.
