The Ukrainian national football team will take part in the Olympic Games for the first time in history.
From 24 The men's football tournament of the Olympic Games 2024 will take place from July to August 9.
It will begin two days before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, which will take place on Friday, July 26.
16 national teams of countries will take part in it, including Ukraine. For the first time in history, our country will be represented in the Olympic football tournament.
The Blue-Yellows have received a ticket to the Games.thanks to the fact that the Ukrainian youth team (U-21) reached the semi-finals of Euro 2023.
Matches of the Olympic football tournament will be held in seven cities of France: Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne, Nice and Nantes.
Ruslan Rotan's team will perform in Group B, where they will play against Iraq, Morocco and Argentina. The two best teams from each quartet will advance to the quarterfinals.
The final match will take place on August 9 in Paris at the Parc des Princes stadium. The regulations also provide for a match for bronze, where on August 8 the teams that lose in the semi-finals will fight.
