A total of 329 sets of medals in 32 sports will be awarded at the competitions in the capital of France. 10,500 athletes from 206 countries are taking part in them.
Ukraine is represented at the XXXIII Summer Olympics by 140 athletes who compete in 23 sports.

Ukraine is represented by the smallest number of athletes in its history at the Olympic Games. Before this, the anti-record (155 athletes) was at the 2020 Games in Tokyo, which were held in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
At the 2020 Olympics, the Ukrainian team won 19 awards: one gold, six silver and 12 bronze. With this result, the “blue-yellows” took 44th place in the medal standings.
