The first final with the participation of Ukrainian athletes took place at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Victoria Kesar and Ganna Pismenskaya competed in the women's synchronized 3-meter springboard diving.
In the final, the Ukrainians took seventh place out of eight teams, scoring a total of 251.37 points.
The victory was won by the Chinese Chang Yanyi and Chen Yiwen with a score of 337.68 points.
The silver was won by the Americans Sarah Bacon and Cassidy Cook (314.64 points), and the bronze was won by Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen from Great Britain (302.28 points).
It should be noted that this is China's sixth consecutive victory in the women's synchronized 3-meter springboard diving at the Olympic Games.
Thus, China has already has two gold medals at the Paris Games. Earlier, the representatives of the Celestial Empire became the first champions of the 2024 Olympics, triumphing in the mixed rifle shooting at a distance of 10 meters.
