Serbian Novak Djokovic became the champion of the men's singles tennis tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
In the final, 37-year-old Djokovic defeated 21-year-old Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. The match lasted 2 hours 52 minutes and ended with Novak winning two sets in tie-breaks – 7:6, 7:6.
Djokovic won Olympic gold for the first time, he was a bronze medalist at the 2008 Games. For Alcaraz, this is his Olympic debut.
The bronze medalist in the men's singles tennis tournament at the 2024 Olympics was Italian Lorenzo Musetti, who beat Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime – 6:4, 1:6, 6:3.
