“Gold” in fencing allowed Ukraine to make a rapid breakthrough and climb 12 positions at once in the medal standings of the 2024 Olympic Games.
After seven days of competition, our team shared 40th place with Turkey and Kosovo, but thanks to winning its first gold medal, it moved up to sole 28th place.
