18-year-old Ukrainian Oleksiy Sereda competed in the 10-meter platform diving finals at 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Our athlete took 8th place with a score of 426.90 points after six jumps.
Note that in the morning in the semi-finals Sereda took 11th place, scoring 405.05 points.
The Olympic champion was the Chinese Cao Yuan with a score of 547.50. “Silver” was won by the Japanese Tamai Rikuto (507.65 points), and “bronze” was won by the British Noah Williams (497.35).
For Alexey, this is the second Olympics in his career. At the 2020 Games in Tokyo, he took sixth place in the 10-meter platform diving, and also became sixth in the synchronized 10-meter platform diving paired with Oleg Serbin.
Sereda also competed at the 2024 Olympics in the final of synchronized diving from the 10-meter platform, where they, together with Kirill Bolyukh, took fifth place.

Ukraine is represented at the XXXIII Summer Olympics by 140 athletes who compete in 23 sports. The games in Paris will last until August 11.
