Yaroslava finished the competition with a result of 1.99 meters.
Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Maguchikh became the winner of the 2024 Diamond League stage in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The reigning Olympic champion triumphed with a result of 1.99 meters. She was the only one of all the participants who managed to reach this height.
Then Yaroslava tried to conquer the bar at a height of 2.03 meters, but was unable to do so in any of her three attempts.
Second and third places were taken by representatives of Australia – Eleanor Patterson (1.96 meters) and Nicola Olislagers (1.92 meters), respectively.
Another Ukrainian Iryna Gerashchenko, who won the “bronze” at the 2024 Olympics, took fifth place (1.88 meters), three times failing to clear the height of 1.92 meters.
