Head coach of the Ukrainian national team Serhiy Rebrov has decided on the list of players called up for the September matches of the 2024/25 Nations League against Albania and the Czech Republic.
According to the official website of the UAF, the main list includes 26 players, and another six players were included in the reserve list.
The composition of the Ukrainian national team for the first matches in the 2024/25 Nations League
Goalkeepers: Georgy Bushchan (Dynamo Kyiv), Anatoliy Trubin (Benfica Lisbon, Portugal), Andriy Lunin (Real Madrid, Spain).
Defenders:Mykola Matviyenko, Yefim Konoplya, Valeriy Bondar (all from Shakhtar Donetsk), Oleksandr Tymchyk, Denys Popov (both from Dynamo Kyiv), Vitaliy Mykolenko (Everton Liverpool, England), Ilya Zabarnyi (Bournemouth, England), Maksym Taloverov (LASK Linz, Austria).

The UAF press service presented the national team roster for the first matches in the 2024/25 Nations League with a creative video.
“We continue to live, work and fight for our future and common victories. Very soon, our main football team will defend the honor of the country on the football field. Our roster for the September matches of the 2024/25 Nations League. Together we are strong,” the caption to the video says.
In the 2024/25 Nations League season, the Ukrainian national team will play in the second-strongest division B. The opponents of the wards Rebrov's group will include teams from the Czech Republic, Albania and Georgia.
In September, the “blue-yellows” will have two matches, both in Prague. On September 7, the Ukrainians will play a nominally home match with Albania, and then on September 10, they will play an away match with the Czech Republic.
