Oleksandr Nazarenko and Dmytro Riznyk have been called up to the “blue-yellows” camp.
The Ukrainian national football team has undergone more personnel changes ahead of the October 2024/25 Nations League matches against Georgia and the Czech Republic.
According to the official website of the UAF, Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin (the reason is a viral infection) and Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Andriy Yarmolenko, who was injured, will not help the national team in the upcoming matches.
Instead of them, Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk and Zhytomyr Poliesie midfielder Oleksandr Nazarenko, for whom this is the debut call-up to the Ukrainian national team, will arrive in the camp of the “blue-yellows”.
It should be noted that Yarmolenko was supposed to replace the injured Viktor Tsygankov in the Ukrainian national team.
Also, compared to the original list, Oleksandr Svatok, Vitaliy Buyalsky and Ivan Kalyuzhny were called up to the national team. They will replace the injured Vitaliy Mykolenko, Oleksandr Pikhalyonok and Volodymyr Brazhko.
