The Croatian specialist worked at the Roman club for less than two months.
Italian Roma Ukrainian forward Artem Dovbyk announced the dismissal of Ivan Yuric from the post of head coach of the team.
This was reported on the official website of the “wolves”.
This happened after defeat of the Romans to Bologna (2:3) in the home match of the 12th round of Serie A.
“We want to thank Ivan Juric for his hard work over the past few weeks. He has dealt with a difficult situation with great professionalism, and we are grateful to him for that. We wish him all the best for the future. The search for a new coach has already begun, and an announcement will be made in the coming days,” the club said in a statement.
The 49-year-old Croatian specialist took charge of Roma on September 18 after the dismissal of Daniele De Rossi. Under his leadership, the Roman team played 12 matches: won 4 times, drew 3 times and suffered 5 defeats.
According to a number of media outlets, the experienced Italian Roberto Mancini could become the new coach of Roma.
Having lost four of their last five matches in the Italian championship, Dovbyk's team is only in 12th place in Serie A with 13 points.
In the next round of Serie A, which will take place after the international break, Roma will play away against Napoli on November 24.
