Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson commented on his defeat in the fight against popular blogger Jake Paul.
According to the 58-year-old “Iron Mike”, he had to box with an injury, but he does not consider this an excuse.
“I am happy with the way I fought. A tough fight, Paul is a good boxer, fully deserves the respect of the public. Yes, I fought with an injury, but this is not an excuse. I do not care about the opinion of society, I like what I do,” Mike said in the ring after the fight.
27-year-old Paul defeated the boxing legend by unanimous decision – 80:72, 79:73, 79:73. The opponents spent 8 rounds in the ring for 2 minutes. It should be noted that this fight had an official status – the result was included in the statistics of both fighters.
Let's add that initially Tyson and Paul were supposed to meet in the ring on July 20, but due to the deterioration of “Iron Mike's” health, the fight was postponed.
