The Kyivstar TV film and television platform will exclusively broadcast the super heavyweight championship fight.
On Saturday, November 23, the EBU (European Boxing Union) European heavyweight champion, Ukrainian Oleksandr Zakhozhiy will defend his title for the first time. The Ukrainian's opponent will be 31-year-old Kosovo representative Labinot Jojaj. He has 19 wins in 20 fights, 16 of which the Kosovar finished early and one draw.
The fight will be exclusively broadcast by the film and television platform Kyivstar TV.
It should be noted that Zakhozhiy was supposed to fight Arnold Djerjaj, a native of Kosovo who competes for Switzerland, but the latter was injured. Alexander Zakhozhiy won the vacant EBU belt in April 2024, knocking down German Granit Shalu twice in the second round.
For Jodjaj, this fight will be his third this year, after victories over Semir Dautovic in April and Vaclav Trojacek in September.
The fight will take place as part of a boxing evening in Heidelberg, Germany. The fight starts at 21:30.
In addition, on the undercard, German Tina Rupprecht and Japanese Eri Matsuda will fight for the WBC, WBA, WBO and The Ring women's world champion belts in the first minimum weight class.
Alexander Pasechnik and Miloslav Yurchuk will commentate on the boxing evening.
