The start of the new season of the Biathlon World Cup is scheduled for November 30.
The Ukrainian men's biathlon team has decided on the roster for the first stage of the 2024/25 World Cup, which will be held in Kontiolahti, Finland.
As reported by the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine on its official Telegram channel, our team will be represented by five biathletes: Dmytro Pidruchnyi, Bohdan Tsymbal, Vitaliy Mandzyn, Anton Dudchenko and Artem Tyshchenko.
It should be noted that following the results of the last season, the Ukrainian men's team lost one quota in the individual World Cup races and cannot send more than four biathletes to the start.
In turn, in the women's individual races, the Ukrainian team will have a quota of five biathletes in the 2024/25 World Cup season.
The opening stage of the new World Cup season in Kontiolahti will last from November 30 to December 8. It will include single and classic mixed relays, men's and women's relays, individual races, sprints, and mass starts.
