The Ukrainians began the tournament from the 1/8 finals. First, the “blue-yellows” defeated the tournament hosts Canada in a tense fight (33:32), in the 1/4 finals they also overcame Italy with a difference of one shot (34:33), and in the semi-finals they defeated the vice-champions of the 2024 Olympics, the French team – 38:30.
