"The Miners" missed out on the opportunity to reduce the gap with the championship leaders.
"Shakhtar" drew with "Rukh" in the match of the 15th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Arena Lviv ended with a score of 1:1.
The first half was dominated by the Donetsk club – Nikolai Matvienko scored a goal in the 23rd minute.
However, at the end of the match, the miners lost their winning result. At the 90+1 minute, Roman Didyk snatched a draw for the Lviv team.
Review of the match “Shakhtar” – “Rukh”
After this match, “Shakhtar” (30 points) continues to occupy third place in the UPL. Marino Pusic's charges are 6 points behind “Dynamo” and “Oleksandria”, who are leading the championship. “Rukh” (19 points) is in eighth position.
In the next round of the UPL, Donetsk will meet Vorskla on December 5, and the “yellow-blacks” will play Poliesie away on December 9. Before that, Lviv will host Poliesie on December 4 in a rescheduled match of the 1st round of the Ukrainian championship.
