 Usyk & Fury fight organizer offers Vladimir Klitschko to return to the ring for the title

A championship fight is ready to be organized for the legendary Ukrainian boxer.

The head of the Saudi Arabian General Authority for Entertainment Turki Al ash-Sheikh has approached former world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko with an offer to return to professional boxing.

The organizer of the fight between the Ukrainian title holder WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO Alexander Usyk and Briton Tyson Fury said that he would like to see 48-year-old Vladimir in the ring again and is ready to organize a championship fight for him.

“I want to see you in the ring again. So that you have a chance to become world champion again. We will see what the result of the fight between Tyson Fury and Alexander Usyk will be, what the result of the fight between Daniel Dubois will be.

I will ask the WBC, IBF, WBA, WBO to give you a chance to achieve this dream,” Fight Hub TV quotes the functionary as saying.

Klitschko Jr. ended his career in 2017 after a knockout loss to Anthony Joshua. Before that, in 2015, he lost by unanimous decision to Tyson Fury and lost his IBF, IBO, WBO and WBA championship belts.

In the professional ring, Vladimir had 69 fights, won 64 victories (54 by knockout) and suffered 5 defeats. He held the championship belts of the WBO (2000-2003, 2008-2015), IBF (2006-2015), IBO (2006-2015) and WBA (2011-2015) in the heavyweight division.
