The best result among the Ukrainians was shown by Dmytro Pidruchnyi.
On Friday, December 13, at the second stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Hochfilzen, Austria, the men's sprint race took place.
Ukraine was represented by four biathletes – Anton Dudchenko, Dmitry Pidruchny, Bogdan Tsymbal and Vitaly Mandzyn.
The best result among the Ukrainians was shown by Pidruchnyi, who finished in 15th place with one miss at the shooting range. Mandzyn (33rd position) and Dudchenko (39th place) also qualified for the pursuit race.
The victory was won by Norwegian Johannes Bjo. His compatriot Sturla Laegreid came in second, and Frenchman Fabien Claude rounded out the top three.

We note that earlier today in Hochfilzen, a women's sprint took place, in which the best result among Ukrainians was shown by Kristina Dmitrenko – 18th place.
The program of the stage in Hochfilzen will continue with women's and men's pursuit races on Saturday, December 14.
