Dmytro Pidruchnyi became the best among the Ukrainians in the pursuit.
On Saturday, December 14, at the second stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World CupThe men's pursuit race took place in Hochfilzen, Austria.
Ukraine was represented by three biathletes: Dmytro Pidruchnyi (started 15th in the sprint), Vitaliy Mandzyn (33rd starting position), and Anton Dudchenko (started the race 39th).
The best result among Ukrainians in the pursuit was shown by Pidruchnyi, who finished 11th with one miss. Mandzyn and Dudchenko did not make it into the qualifying zone, taking 45th and 48th places, respectively.
The Norwegian Johannes Biot, who had previously triumphed in the sprint, won the pursuit race. Frenchman Emilien Jacquelin took second place on the podium, and Norwegian Sturla Laegreid completed the top three.
