On Thursday, December 19, the matches of the last, sixth round of the main stage of the Conference League of the 2024/25 season will be held.
Ukraine is not represented in the third most prestigious European Cup. At the same time, Chelsea is playing here, with Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk, who tested positive for doping and was temporarily suspended from football.
In the final round, the London club will play against the Irish Shamrock Rovers. In turn, the Austrian LASK of the Ukrainian defender Maksym Taloverov will host the Icelandic Vikingur.
In the updated format of the Conference League, 36 clubs play in a single league, where they must play against six different opponents (three home and three away matches).
The eight best teams of the main stage of the Conference League will reach the 1/8 finals. The clubs that take 9th to 24th places in the overall standings will play paired play-off matches for a place in the 1/8 finals. The rest will finish their performance in European competitions.
