Mykhailo is convinced of his innocence and is awaiting the results of the "B" sample.
Chelsea Ukrainian footballer Mykhailo Mudryk, who tested positive for doping, has been suspended from training at the Londoners' club base in Cobham.
According to authoritative journalist Ben Jacobs, the Blues are currently waiting for the results of the 23-year-old Ukrainian's “B” sample after the “A” sample returned a positive result.
The source notes that Mykhailo categorically denies that he intentionally used the banned substance. Mudryk is devastated and intends to clear his name. The Ukrainian believes that the sample was contaminated.

Recall that on the night of December 17, it became known that Mudryk had tested positive for doping. The banned substance meldonium was found in the 23-year-old player's “A” sample. Mykhailo was temporarily suspended from football.
It is expected that the “B” sample will be opened in the coming days. After that, it will become clear whether Mudrik faces disqualification and, if so, for how long.
Mudrik himself has already confirmed the information on social networks about his positive doping test. Mikhail assured that he did not knowingly use prohibited substances and promised to tell the details of the situation when the investigation is completed.
Chelsea has also already made an official statement about Mudrik's failed doping test. It is noted that Mykhailo confirmed that he has never knowingly used any prohibited substances.
This season, Mudryk has played 15 matches for Chelsea in all competitions, scoring three goals and making five assists.
The last time Mudryk was included in the Chelsea squad was on December 1 for the Premier League match against Aston Villa, which he spent on the bench. Since then, Mykhailo has been left out of his team's squad for four matches in a row. The head coach of the London club, Enzo Maresca, reported that the Ukrainian was ill.
