Anton Dudchenko showed the best result among Ukrainians.
On Thursday, December 19, the third stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Annecy-Le Grand-Bornand, France, started with a men's sprint race.
Ukraine was represented by four biathletes – Bohdan Tsymbal, Dmytro Pidruchny, Anton Dudchenko and Vitaliy Mandzyn.
The best result among the Ukrainians was shown by Dudchenko, who took 12th place with perfect shooting. Mandzyn, who finished 16th, and Pidruchnyi, who finished in the top 40 with two misses, also made it into the scoring zone.
The only representative of Ukraine who failed to finish in the top 60 and qualify for the pursuit race was Tsymbal.
The race was won by Norwegian Martin Uldahl. His compatriot Johannes Bjo came in second, and Sweden’s Sebastian Samuelsson rounded out the top three.
