Ukrainian light heavyweight boxer Daniel Lapin won a victory in the undercard of the rematch between the holder of the WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO titles in the heavyweight division Alexander Usyk and former champion Tyson Fury.
The 27-year-old Ukrainian confidently dealt with the Frenchman Dylan Colin. Our compatriot won the ten-round fight by unanimous decision of the judges.
The IBF Intercontinental and WBA Continental light heavyweight titles were at stake in this fight.
Daniel remains undefeated in the professional ring. He now has 11 wins (4 by knockout) in 11 fights.
This is Colin's first defeat in his professional career. He also has 14 wins (4 by knockout).
Lapin has already become the second Ukrainian boxer to win on the Usyk-Fury undercard. Earlier, Andriy Novitsky defendedWBC International heavyweight belt, defeating Mexican Edgar Ramirez.
Another Ukrainian will fight on the undercard of the Usyk-Fury rematch: 29-year-old native of Vinnytsia Serhiy Bogachuk will enter the ring against Briton Ishmael Davis in a rating fight in the first middleweight division. The latter replaced the former WBA world champion, Uzbek Israil Madrimov, who withdrew two weeks before the fight.

Recall that Usyk and Fury will fight in the rematch for all the titles that the Ukrainian boxer currently holds. Unlike the first fight, this time the title of absolute world champion will not be at stake, since Alexander had previously given up the IBF belt. The new holder of this title is Briton Daniel Dubois, who has already managed to defend it by knocking out his compatriot Anthony Joshua.
