Following his brother Johannes, Tarjei Bjo has decided to retire from biathlon.
The outstanding Norwegian biathlete Tarjei Bjo will end his professional career at the end of the 2024/25 season.
The 36-year-old athlete announced this after winning the sprint at the sixth stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in the Italian Antholz.
“It was a really great day, my wife is here, I won my second victory this season and my first one here in Antholz. And it's the right day to say: 'I'm retiring,'” Tarjei said.
