Yulia Dzhima showed the best result among Ukrainians in the pursuit.
On Saturday, January 25, the sixth stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Antholz, Italy, continued with the women's pursuit race.
Ukraine was represented in it by Yulia Dzhima (10th starting position following the sprint), Kristina Dmitrenko (24th), Elena Gorodnaya (49th) and Irina Petrenko (55th).
The best result among the Ukrainians in the pursuit was shown by Dzhima, who finished 18th with three misses. Dmitrenko also made it into the scoring zone, finishing 30th with two misses.
The Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonneau, who had previously triumphed in the sprint, won the pursuit race. Her compatriot Julie Simon came in second, and the top three was rounded out by the overall leader, German Franziska Preuss.
