Zabarnyi started for the hosts and spent the entire match on the pitch, receiving a yellow card in the 90+3 minute. For the 22-year-old Ukrainian, this was the 23rd match of this Premier League season.
Thanks to the victory, Bournemouth (40 points) moved up to sixth place in the Premier League. Nottingham, who are considered the main sensation of this season, are in third place with 44 points.
In the next match, Bournemouth will host championship leader Liverpool, and Nottingham will play Brighton at home. Both matches will take place on February 1.
In turn, Everton won a minimal victory over Brighton thanks to a goal scored from the penalty spot in the 42nd minute by Iliman Ndiaye.
Mykolenko played the entire match for the Toffees. For the 25-year-old Ukrainian, this was the 20th match in the current Premier League.
Everton (23 points) is in 16th place in the Premier League standings – the Merseyside club has increased the gap from the relegation zone to 7 points. Brighton (34 points) remained in ninth position.
In the next round, Everton will host Leicester, and Brighton will meet Nottingham away. Both matches will take place on February 1.
