The Ukraine national futsal team beat the Germany team in the third round of the 2026 European Championship qualifiers. The match in Goppingen, Germany, ended with a score of 3:5in favor of the “blue-yellows”.
In the 3rd minute of the match, Suad Ak put the Germans ahead. However, even before the break, Oleksandr Kosenko's charges responded with 5 goals: Nikolai Mykityuk scored twice, Yevgeny Zhuk, Rostislav Semenchenko and Igor Korsun scored once each.
By the end of the first half, the hosts had scored one goal – Gabriel Oliveira converted a penalty. At the start of the second half, Ak continued to reduce the gap between the Germans, but they could not avoid defeat.
The Ukrainian national futsal team won the third match in a row in the Euro 2026 qualifiers. Earlier, our team won a crushing victory over Cyprus (7:0) and beat Romania (2:0).
After three rounds, the Ukrainian team with 9 points is the sole leader of its Euro 2026 qualifier group. “The Blue-Yellows” are ahead of Romania (6 points), as well as Germany (3) and Cyprus (0).
The next match in the qualification for the continental championship will be played by the Ukrainian national team on February 4, when they will host Germany in a nominally home match, which will take place in Chisinau, Moldova.
The winners of the groups will directly qualify for the final part of Euro 2026, and the eight best teams that took second place will play for four more tickets to the continental championship in the playoffs.
The 2026 European Futsal Championship will be held from January 18 to February 8, 2026 in Lithuania and Latvia. The hosts of the final tournament automatically received the right to participate in it.
