“Toffee" won their third consecutive match in the English championship.
Everton defeated Leicester City at home in the 24th round of the English Premier League (EPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at Goodison Park in Liverpool ended with a score of 4:0.
The Toffees opened the scoring just 10 seconds into the match – after a long pass from goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, Abdoulaye Doucoure scored an accurate shot. This is Everton's fastest goal in the history of the Premier League.
Before the break, the hosts scored two more goals against the opponent – Beto scored twice, scoring in the 6th and 45+2nd minutes.
At the end of the match, David Moes' team sent the fourth goal into the Foxes' goal. The final score of the game was set in the 90th minute by Iliman Ndiaye.
Everton's Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko entered the field in the starting lineup and played 88 minutes, after which he was replaced by Nathan Patterson.
