The main start of the biathlon season from February 12 to 23 will be held in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.
The Ukrainian Women's Biathlon Team has decided on its roster for the upcoming 2025 World Championships.
As reported to Suspilne Sport by the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine, the team includes six athletes, one of whom is a reserve.
The coaching staff determined the four participants of the Ukrainian team after the sixth stage of the World Cup, while the last two were determined after the European Championship.

The 2025 Biathlon World Championships will be held from 12 to 23 February in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. The world championship is traditionally considered the main start of the biathlon season.
We will add that the 2025 Biathlon European Championships were held from 29 January to 2 February in Martel Val Martello, Italy. The Ukrainian team, which competed without its leaders Yuliya Dzyma and Dmytro Pidruchnyi, finished the continental championship without medals.
The next, seventh stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup is scheduled for March 6-9 in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic.
