La Liga President Javier Tebas has announced a lawsuit against Real Madrid. The reason for this decision was a letter of protest that the club sent to the football federation, expressing dissatisfaction with the refereeing.
In statements after the meeting of La Liga with the Technical Committee of Referees, the RFEF and other professional clubs (except Real Madrid, which decided not to participate in the meeting), Tebas explained that they were legally analyzing whether the lawsuit would be directed against the club as a whole, against those who signed the letter, or against the board of directors.
“There will be a lawsuit because this cannot be tolerated. In that letter there are untruths and half-truths that try to influence something that cannot be,” Tebas said.
