Oleg Doroshchuk and Dmitry Nikitin win silver and bronze respectively.
Ukrainian high jumpers Oleg Doroshchuk and Dmitry Nikitin became prize winners of the Continental Tour stage in the Czech Trzynec.
Doroshchuk took second place with a result of 2.27 meters, and Nikitin came in third – 2.24 meters.
The “gold” of the competition was won by the Czech Jan Shtefela, who managed to clear a height of 2.30 meters. Doroshchuk fought for the victory until the very end, but all three of his attempts to jump 2.32 meters were unsuccessful.
It should be noted that last season Doroshchuk won “silver” in the Diamond League final, clearing the bar at a height of 2.31 meters. With the same result, Oleg came sixth in the final of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian high jumper Kateryna Tabashnik with a personal season record won the stage of the Continental Tour in the Czech Republic.
