The Spanish grandee's defender has been charged.
According to a source, the court has charged Real Madrid defender Raul Asensio with the probable distribution of child pornography. His request to have the case dismissed was reportedly rejected and he remains under indictment.
Raúl Asensio and his friends from the Real Madrid youth academy filmed a sexual act with two girls in the Canary Islands without their consent. The defender received the video and distributed it.
It was later discovered that one of the girls was a minor and Asensio now faces up to five years in prison.
This season, Asensio played in 20 matches for the Real Madrid main team, making one assist and receiving three yellow cards.
