The world championship will begin with a mixed relay on February 12.
The Ukrainian national team has decided on its lineup for the mixed relay, which will start the 2025 Biathlon World Championships on Wednesday, February 12, in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.
As reported by Suspilne Sport, the “blue-yellows” will be represented Irina Petrenko, Kristina Dmitrenko, Anton Dudchenko and Dmytro Pidruchnyi.
The leader of the Ukrainian women's team, Yulia Dzyma, fell ill on the eve of the World Championships, so she will not participate in the mixed relay.
The opening race of the Biathlon World Championships will begin at 15:30 Kyiv time. The competition will then continue with the women's sprint on Friday, February 14.
The 2025 Biathlon World Championships will last from February 12 to 23. The World Championship is traditionally considered the main start of the biathlon season.
