Alexander admitted how long he intends to continue entering the ring.
WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO heavyweight champion Alexander Usyk shed light on his near future.
In an interview with Sky Sports, the 38-year-old Ukrainian boxer said that he plans to have no more than two fights before ending his sports career.
In his next fight, Usyk intends to meet the winner of the fight between IBF title holder Briton Daniel Dubois and New Zealander Joseph Parker, which will take place on February 22 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
“I will fight whoever wins, Joseph Parker, Daniel Dubois, no problem. I think I have two years, one and a half years left in boxing. I feel great. I feel like I need to prepare for two fights, no more. Just two,” Usyk said.
Usyk currently has 23 wins (14 by knockout) in 23 fights. He spent seven of them in the heavyweight division, where he managed to become the first absolute world champion in the 21st century. Before that, Oleksandr also won the “absolute” status in the cruiserweight division (weight category up to 90.7 kg).

Let us recall that on the night of December 22, 2024, Usyk defeated Tyson Fury in a rematch by unanimous decision (three times 116-112) and defended his WBA, WBO, WBC and IBO heavyweight world titles.
Unlike the first fight, the Usyk-Fury rematch did not involve the title of absolute world champion, since Alexander had previously renounced the IBF title. Now it is in the hands of Dubois, who has already managed to defend it by knocking out his compatriot Anthony Joshua.
After Usyk's victory over Fury in the rematch, Dubois climbed into the ring and challenged the Ukrainian to a fight. Alexander agreed and asked to organize a fight with Daniel, whom he had already knocked out in August 2023.
According to the manager of the Ukrainian champion Egis Klimas, Usyk will have his next fight approximately at the end of July or in August 2025. For now, Alexander is resting, waiting for the result of the title fight between Dubois and Parker.
