The races will be held on February 14 and 15, respectively.
The Ukrainian national team has determined the rosters for the women's and men's sprints of the 2025 Biathlon World Championships, which is taking place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.
As reported by Suspilne Sport, the women's sprint will be run four Ukrainian biathletes: Yulia Dzyma, Kristina Dmytrenko, Olena Gorodna and Iryna Petrenko.
In the men's sprint, Ukraine will be represented by Dmytro Pidruchnyi, Vitalii Mandzyn, Anton Dudchenko and Taras Lesyuk, Suspilne Sport reports.
The women's sprint is scheduled for Friday, February 14. The men's sprint will take place on Saturday, February 15. Both races will start at 16:05 Kyiv time.
It should be noted that the 2025 Biathlon World Championships started on Wednesday, February 12, with a mixed relay, in which the Ukrainian team finished in eighth place. The world championship will last until February 23.
