In Odessa, the house of former Dynamo Kyiv and local Chornomorets forward Valeriy Porkuyan was damaged by Russian shelling on March 3.
This was reported by the Telegram channel “Bombardier”.

Porkuyan was the top scorer of the USSR national team at the 1966 World Cup. Valeriy played for Zvezda, Dynamo, Chornomorets and Dnipro.
As part of Dynamo, he became the USSR champion three times (1966, 1967, 1968) and won the USSR Cup (1966).
After finishing his playing career, Porkuyan coached Tavria, Kerch Avangard, Chornomorets and the Blago team from Odessa Oblast.
