The best result among Ukrainians in the pursuit was shown by Yulia Dzhima.
On Saturday, March 8, the women's pursuit race took place at the seventh stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic.
Ukraine was represented by two biathletes: Yulia Dzhima (24th starting position in the sprint ) and Kristina Dmitrenko (25th).
The best result among Ukrainians in the pursuit was shown by Dzhima, who finished 25th. Dmitrenko also made it into the qualifying zone, taking 30th place.
The winner was Frenchwoman Julia Simon. Second place went to Swedish Hanna Oeberg, and the third place went to Frenchwoman Oceane Michelon.

It should be noted that today in Nove Mesto there was also a men's pursuit race , where the best result among Ukrainians was shown by Dmytro Pidruchnyi, who finished 36th.
The stage in Nove Mesto will end on Sunday, March 9, with classic relays.
