Ukrainian tennis players Elina Svitolina , Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremska reached the third round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Indian Wells, USA.
Yastremska (No. 46 WTA), who confidently won at the start of the competition Chinese Yue Yuan (No. 68 WTA) beat Tunisian Ons Jabeur (No. 32 WTA) in the second round – 6:3, 6:1.
Svitolina and Kostyuk, as the first and second rackets of Ukraine respectively, skipped the first round, starting their performance in the tournament immediately from the second.
Elina (No. 23 WTA) defeated American Ashlyn Krueger (No. 41 WTA) – 6:1, 6:7, 6:3. Marta (No. 24 WTA) dealt with American Robin Montgomery (No. 107 WTA) – 6:1, 6:3.
