Ukrainian Nazar Chepurnyi won a gold medal at the World Cup in artistic gymnastics, which is taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The 22-year-old native of Cherkassy climbed to the highest step of the podium in the vault.
For two jumps, Chepurny received a total of 14.466 points, which allowed him to win the competition.
This is already Nazar's second award at this stage of the World Cup. The day before, he won bronze in the floor exercise.
Overall, this medal was Chepurny’s fourth this season and his first gold.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian high jumper Oleg Doroshchuk won gold at the 2025 European Indoor Athletics Championships.
