Manchester City are considering signing the young Crystal Palace star.
According to sources from TBR Football, City manager Pep Guardiola has asked the club's scouts to keep an eye on 21-year-old Adam Wharton. The Eagles' defensive midfielder has impressed the Spanish coach with his performances this season. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Aston Villa are also keeping a close eye on his progress.
Crystal Palace are planning to offer Wharton a new long-term contract in a bid to keep him at the club. His current deal with the club runs until the end of June 2029.
Adam Wharton has played 17 matches for the Eagles in all competitions this season, scoring one assist. His value, according to the popular website Transfermarkt, is estimated at 32 million euros.
