Max Verstappen : “It's great to be back racing and starting the season. I'm delighted that the first race will be in Melbourne – this is the track where I made my Formula 1 debut, there are a lot of memories associated with this place and the fans always come to support us.
We learned a lot from the tests in Bahrain, but there is still a lot of work ahead. We are analysing the data and trying to improve. We have some ideas from the tests, we will see how they work on this track. I am looking forward to the start of the season.”
Liam Lawson : “I’m really looking forward to my first weekend with the team as it’s my first weekend in Melbourne.
We prepared seriously, I worked on my first pre-season program in Formula 1, drove a lot of laps on the simulator, interacted with the engineers – it was important to establish interaction with the team before the start of the season.
“I am a little nervous about my first Australian Grand Prix, it is my home race. As the main driver of Red Bull Racing I will give everything for myself and the team – the battle begins this weekend in Melbourne.”
