The Ukrainian national athletics team has decided on its application for the 2025 World Indoor Championships.
As reported on the official website of World Athletics, the blue-yellow team included seven athletes in the world championship.
The tournament will also feature the current European indoor high jump champions: Yaroslava Maguchikh and Oleg Doroshchuk .

The World Indoor Athletics Championships will be held from 21 to 23 March in Nanjing, China.
It should be noted that last year, Mahuchikh won silver at the World Indoor Championships, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland. In the fight for gold, the Ukrainian lost to Australian Nicola Olislagers.
In total, Yaroslava has won two medals at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in her career. In addition to last year's silver medal, she won gold at the world championship in Belgrade, Serbia, in 2022.
Let us recall that last season, Maguchikh won gold at the 2024 Olympics in Paris and also broke the world record in women's high jump. At the Diamond League stage in Paris, the Ukrainian was the first in history to clear a height of 2.10 meters. Yaroslava surpassed the achievement of Bulgarian Stefka Kostadinova, who jumped 2.09 meters at the 1987 World Championships in Rome.
