Bournemouth centre-back Dean Heysen has revealed who his football idol is.
“I think Sergio Ramos was the best central defender in the history of football. He had everything. He was a real leader, aggressive in defense, scored goals, which made him an important player for the team. I think we are a bit similar.
“There have been many great centre-backs in world football, like Van Dijk, who I think is the best right now. I used to really like Ramos and Pique,” Heysen added.
Dean Heysen, 19, has made 27 appearances for Bournemouth in all competitions this season, scoring twice. His performances at club level have caught the eye of Spain manager Luis de la Fuente, who has called on the youngster with injuries to his defenders in the La Roja squad.
