On Friday, March 21, the final ninth stage of the 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup in Holmenkollen, Norway, started with the men's sprint race.
Ukraine was represented by four biathletes: Anton Dudchenko , Dmytro Pidruchnyi , Vitaliy Mandzyn and Taras Lesyuk .
The best result in the race among Ukrainians was shown by Pidruchnyi, who took 26th place.
The entire podium of the last sprint of the season was taken by Norwegians. The winner was Johannes Bjo, who had previously announced the end of his career . The current leader of the overall World Cup, Sturla Laegreid, finished second, and Johannes Dale rounded out the top three.
