The Roma defender spoke about the improvements in his game and the team.
Angeliño praised Ranieri's contribution to the team and the players' work.
“The credit for the qualitative leap goes to the team, not just to me. Maybe. I am now playing in a better position than last year, but I owe my growth to my teammates and Mr. Ranieri, who has always built me up in the best possible way since he arrived.
“His trust and the performance of the whole team matter. Here in Rome I am really happy and I want to continue on this path. This is the best moment of my career,” Angeliño said.
According to the Spanish defender, he wants Ranieri to stay at the Italian club.
“We all love him, he has done incredible things for us. We would be happy if he stayed,” the defender said.
Angeliño has played in 42 matches for Roma this season, scoring 4 goals and providing 6 assists.
