Maxim Taloverov will not help Plymouth in the fight to remain in the Championship.
Plymouth's Ukrainian defender Maksym Taloverov is out for the rest of the current season due to injury.
This was announced by the head coach of the English club, Miron Muslich.
The reason was a knee injury that the 24-year-old footballer received in his last match for his club. Because of it, Taloverov left the camp of the Ukrainian national team and was unable to help the national team in both matches of the League of Nations playoffs against Belgium.
Taloverov joined Plymouth in January 2025 from Austrian LASK for €2 million. Maxim played 11 matches for the English club, scoring 2 goals, including a goal against Manchester City in the FA Cup round of 16.
Plymouth currently sits last in the Championship table (the second most prestigious English division – ed.), with 33 points after 38 matches played, and is fighting to retain its place.
Earlier it was reported that analysts assessed the chances of the Ukrainian national team in the selection for the 2026 World Cup.
